NCAA Women's National Championship, Notre Dame Vs. Baylor Final Score: Baylor Completes Perfect Season

The Baylor Lady Bears defeated the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 80-61 on Tuesday at the Pepsi Center in Denver to complete their perfect 40-0 season and win the NCAA Women's National Championship. Baylor was led by star center Brittney Griner, who finished with 26 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks on 11-of-16 shooting from the field.

Odyssey Sims scored 19 and added seven rebounds and four assists for Baylor in the win. Destiny Williams put up 12 points and six rebounds for the Lady Bears. Brooklyn Pope added eight points for Baylor off the bench.

Notre Dame was led by Skylar Diggins, who finished with 20 points and three assists on 7-of-17 shooting. Teammate Kayla McBride added 11 points, three rebounds, and three assists for the Irish in the loss.
