Tonight at the Pepsi Center in Denver, the Women's NCAA Tournament will have its dramatic final act when the Baylor Lady Bears attempt to complete an undefeated season against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Both teams are top seeds. Baylor enters 39-0 behind star center Brittney Griner, while Notre Dame is playing in its second consecutive title game. Notre Dame lost to Texas A&M in the championship game last season.
When these two teams played in November, Baylor won 94-81 behind 32 points and 14 rebounds from Griner.
The game should feature an interesting contradiction in styles. While Baylor will try to find its star center Griner, Notre Dame has gotten this far by being proficient outside shooters.
Game time/date: Tuesday, April 3, 6:30 p.m. MT
Location: Pepsi Center, Denver, Colo.
