Both the Avalanche and the Blackhawks have had their struggles of late -- they're both 0-4-1 in their last five games -- and one of these teams will take a positive step toward turning their fortunes around on Tuesday. Goaltending has been a problem for the Blackhawks, who have allowed at least three goals in each of their last five games. They lost four of those five by at least two goals. Ray Emery is expected to start in net for Chicago.

That turmoil in goal could be just the help Colorado needs in order to get back on track.
