For the second time in five seasons, the New York Giants and the New England Patriots will face off in the Super Bowl. Sure, the stakes are high since it is the Super Bowl, but this year's game won't be as compelling since the New England Patriots are not attempting to finish the season with an undefeated record. Plus, experts aren't exactly thrilled with the Patriots in this game.
Over at CBS Sports, the entire five-person panelist has selected the New York Giants to win this game straight up and by the spread. The line CBS Sports uses for the game is 3.5 points, so this isn't a case of these guys selecting the Giants both times to cover perhaps the Patriots winning in a close game. They see the Giants winning this outright.
Prisco believes the Giants' will be able to handle Tom Brady while Eli Manning will easily handle the Patriots' secondary. We'll see, but Manning has surely shown that he's at his best in the playoffs this season.
