Thursday in the college football bowl game schedule features three contests, beginning with the No. 24 San Jose State Spartans and the Bowling Green Falcons in the Military Bowl and ending with the Baylor Bears and No. 17 UCLA Bruins facing off in the Holiday Bowl.

Sandwiched in between those games is the Belk Bowl, which puts the Cincinnati Bearcats against the Duke Blue Devils in the early evening.

On Friday, three more bowls are scheduled, beginning with the Independence Bowl between the Ohio Bobcats and the University of Louisiana at Monroe Warhawks out of the Sun Belt Conference. The Virginia Tech Hokies square off against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in the Russell Athletic Bowl later on, with the Texas Tech Red Raiders and Minnesota Golden Gophers wrapping up the day's action in the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas on Friday night.
