The Denver Nuggets host the Memphis Grizzlies Friday night on national television.
The Denver Nuggets will attempt to move back to .500 on the season Friday night when they host the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies are 14-5 on the season, good for second place in the Southwest division behind the San Antonio Spurs, and third place in the Western conference behind the Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Memphis will present an interesting matchup for the undersized Nuggets, as they feature a big lineup that can slow the pace down. Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol lead the frontcourt, and the pair averages 34 points and 20 rebounds combined per game.
The Grizzlies are also the toughest team to score on in the league, allowing an NBA-best 90.7 points-per-game. Rudy Gay, Mike Conley and Tony Allen round out their starting five, and all three players are high-level defenders.
Game Time: Friday, Dec. 14; 8:30 p.m MT
Location: Pepsi Center; Denver, Colorado
TV: ESPN
Odds: Memphis -1½
