College Football Rankings 2012: Alabama runaway No. 1; Kansas State No. 2

Marvin Gentry-US PRESSWIRE

The Alabama Crimson Tide top the latest SB Nation BlogPoll.

Following its blowout win over woebegone Colorado, Oregon still failed to claim the No. 2 spot in the latest SB Nation BlogPoll. That honor, which was up for grabs following previously unbeaten Florida's loss to Georgia, went to Kansas State. Alabama is a runaway No. 1 and unbeaten Notre Dame is No. 4

After the top four undefeated teams, one-loss SEC teams come in at the next three spots, with LSU at 5, Georgia at 6 and Florida at 7. Ohio State, Florida State and Clemson round out the Top 10.

The state of Colorado is unsurprisingly not represented, with the Buffaloes, Colorado State and Air Force all failing to receive votes. Boise State came in at No. 20, a three-spot jump.

Nebraska, Arizona and UCLA were all newcomers to the BlogPoll. Here's the entire poll for the week:
