Saints vs. Broncos: Denver mostly healthy outside of Tracy Porter

Justin Edmonds

The fifth-year pro out of Indiana could miss Sunday's game against his former team, New Orleans, as a precaution after showing symptoms similar to a seizure he had in August.

Tracy Porter might not face his former team when the New Orleans Saints come to Denver on Sunday. After being limited in practice Wednesday, Porter didn't practice today after showing similar symptoms to a seizure he suffered during the preseason. Porter also didn't play in the Broncos' 35-24 win over the San Diego Chargers in Week 6. He'll have to be cleared by the team's medical staff before he can return to practice. Porter is playing his first season with the Broncos after spending the first four years of his pro career with the Saints.

Other than Porter's injury, the Denver Broncos are about as healthy as they could hope for coming out of a bye week. Safety Mike Adams, cornerback Chris Harris, linebacker Danny Trevathan, guard Chris Kuper, wide receiver Matthew Willis and one of Peyton Manning's favorite targets, tight end Jacob Tamme, were all full participants in practice Thursday.

The Denver Broncos face off against a Saints team that has won two straight after dropping their first four games to begin the season. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:20 p.m. MT and the game will be nationally televised on NBC.
