In the second BCS rankings release, Alabama and Florida are still in the top two spots while Kansas State moved into No. 3.
The BCS championship game on Jan. 7, 2013, is still set for the undefeated No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide against the undefeated No. 2 Florida Gators. Both teams crushed their opponents on Saturday: the former against Tennessee, the latter against South Carolina.
The Kansas St. Wildcats moved up to No. 3 after being at No. 4 last week. They switched places with Oregon. Kansas State is led by Loveland, Colo., native Collin Klein, who helped defeat West Virginia on Saturday, 55-14. The Wildcats are No. 2 in the computer rankings average, behind just Florida. Oregon is No. 2 in both the Coaches and Harris polls, but the computers put them at No. 6.
The Boise St. Broncos moved up just one spot from No. 22 to No. 21 with 0.207 points. The fight to get into the top 16 will be long one, as moving into that area will get them an automatic BCS berth. Boise's No. 18 ranking in the Coaches Poll boosts them because three of the six polls don't even rank them in the top 25.
