The Denver Nuggets return to action Sunday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Denver Nuggets reach the midpoint of the preseason schedule Sunday night when they face the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game is scheduled to tip off in Oklahoma City at 6 p.m. MT. There is no scheduled television or local radio coverage.
The Nuggets suffered their first loss of the preseason in their last game, falling 97-80 to the Portland Trailblazers on Wednesday. Denver was led by forward Kenneth Faried, who scored 17 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in the loss. Corey Brewer has led the team in scoring through its first four preseason games, averaging 18 points despite coming off the bench. Danilo Gallinari has added 14 points per game.
The Thunder are the defending Western Conference champions, and have a 2-2 record in the preseason to date. Oklahoma City won both of its games last week, defeating Charlotte 120-98 Tuesday and following that up with a 107-97 win over Phoenix Friday night. As expected, the Thunder are led in scoring by Russell Westbrook (16.0 ppg) and Kevin Durant (14.3 ppg).
