2012 Winter X Games: Torah Bright Hopes To Add To Impressive Medal Count

Over the past couple of years, Torah Bright has established herself as one of the elite snowboarders in the world. In 2009 and 2010, Bright put her talents on display, earning a gold medal at the 2009 Winter X Games in Superpipe and a gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in the Halfpipe competition.

Prior to 2010, Bright had won medals at four straight Winter X Games competitions. Bright won her first medal in 2006, when she earned a silver medal in the Superpipe competition. After earning that initial medal, Bright reached the pinnacle of the sport in 2007, as she earned the first X Games gold medal of her career. Since those two medals, Bright has proven to be one of the elite competitors in the world, earning a silver medal in 2008 and her second career gold medal in 2009.
