SB Nation Week 4 Blog Poll: Oklahoma Is The New No. 1

The latest SB Nation BlogPoll is out and the Oklahoma Sooners took over the top spot after their 23-13 win over the Florida St. Seminoles, who fell six spots to No. 12 after the loss.

Within the Mountain West,  Boise State stayed the same at No. 4 after they throttled the Toledo Rockets, 40-15. Moving up will be tough for Boise State as they lost the first place votes from last week and are a good distance behind Alabama.

TCU moved back into the poll coming in at the 25th spot after they came from behind to defeat the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks, 38-17, and the San Diego St. Aztecs are receiving votes.

Within the Pac-12 Stanford fell one spot to No. 5 despite defeating the Arizona Wildcats, 37-10. The Oregon Ducks climbed up two spots to No. 11 after their dominating win over Missouri State, 56-7, which was expected. The USC Trojans round out the ranked Pac-12 teams, as they come in at No. 22 following their win over the Syracuse Orange, 38-17. Utah is receiving votes for their defeat of BYU, 54-10.

College Football Rankings 2011: Boise State No. 4, Stanford No. 5 In Coaches Poll

In the latest edition of the USA Today Coaches poll, the Boise St. Broncos come in at the No. 4 spot and move past the Florida St. Seminoles who lost to the Oklahoma Sooners, 23-13, and then fell down to No. 14. Boise State is barely in the fourth spot as they are only four total points ahead of No. 5 Stanford Cardinal.

TCU also moved up in the Coaches poll, from No. 23 to No. 20 after their win over Louisiana-Monroe. The final Mountain West team to gain some consideration is San Diego State, who is in the others receiving votes category for their 3-0 start on the season.

The Oregon Ducks moved up on spot to No. 13 and that was due to Florida State's loss than it was for the Ducks win over Missouri State. Utah and Arizona State are in the others receiving votes categories. Utah moved in due to their 54-10 rout over BYU while Arizona State dropped after their 17-14 loss to Illinois.
