Four teams booked trips to the second round of the 2011 NCAA Lacrosse Tournament. If the Denver Pioneers advance to the second round, they will face No. 3 Johns Hopkins on Saturday, May 21 at James Shuart Stadium in Hempstead, NY. Hopkins defeated Hofstra, 12-5, on Saturday afternoon. After being tied at four at halftime, Hopkins pulled away with an 8-1 advantage in the second half.

Based on College Crosse's Fun Factor, Syracuse-Siena, Virginia-Bucknell and Denver-Villanova are three of the top four games to watch in the opening round.
The quarterfinals take place May 21-22. The only matchup settled right now is No. 4 Notre Dame vs. No. 5 Duke on Sunday, May 22.
