#4 Wichita State Shockers vs #2 Washington State Cougars, 5:00 p.m., ESPN2
#1 Colorado Buffaloes vs #1 Alabama Crimson Tide, 7:00 p.m., ESPN2: If you asked a bunch of Buffaloes' supporters how they would feel to know that they would be the last Big 12 conference team to be playing basketball this year at the beginning of the 2010-11 college basketball season I imagine that you would get a lot of extremely excite CU fans. While most would realize that news like that probably meant the Colorado was in the NIT or CBI tournament, they would hopefully assume that the team had accomplished a lot. This Buffs squad, now set to take on the University of Alabama in Madison Square Garden for a chance to win the NIT Tournament on Thursday night, has a chance to head off to the Pac-12 riding a wave of momentum that could propel this program to great things in their new conference. First up, take care of a very strong Crimson Tide team.
