Spurs Vs. Nuggets: Can Denver Take Advantage Of Tim Duncan's Absence?

Stay connected for news and updates

The Denver Nuggets continue their fight for home court advantage on Wednesday night when they host the San Antonio Spurs. While they are the top team in the Western Conference, the Spurs will be without Tim Duncan, who sprained his ankle on Monday. This will be the team's first game without the forward.

The Nuggets have dropped all three games against the Spurs this season, and Tim Duncan was a big part of those victories, grabbing 41 rebounds. Without Duncan's presence, will the Nuggets be able to pull out a victory in the last game of the season series?

The Nuggets are coming off a 33-point victory over the Toronto Raptors at the Pepsi Center and have won three straight games at home by at least 30 points, a first since 1995. And ever since the Carmelo Anthony trade, the Nuggets have gone 10-4 and played much better defense.

ESPN will have the telecast at 8:30 p.m. MT.
