The No. 4 Kentucky Wildcats didn't need any last-second shot by Brandon Knight on Saturday afternoon to defeat the No. 5 West Virginia Mountaineers, 71-63. However, Knight did score a game-high 30 point, hitting 9-of-20 shots (3-of-8 from beyond the arc) and making nine free throws. Josh Harrellson added 15 points and pulled down eight boards. Terrence Jones put up a double-double, 12 points and 10 rebounds.

The Mountaineers' Joe Mazzulla and Darryl Bryant gave it their all with 20 points and 15 points respectively, but with Knight racking up the points it was too hard to overcome the Wildcats. Casey Mitchell added 11 points off the bench.

Kentucky plays the winner of Sunday's Ohio State-George Mason game.
