Northern Iowa Vs. Montana Score: Jordan Johnson Runs For TD, 14-7 Lead

After going down early to the Northern Iowa Panthers in the quarterfinals of the 2011 FCS Playoffs, the Montana Grizzlies now hold a 14-7 lead in the second quarter. The Montana defense successfully stopped the Panthers on the next drive and marched down a short field for the second Grizzlies touchdown of the game.

Jordan Johnson handed the ball off to running back Dan Moore for three straight plays to start the drive, picking up 26 yards. Fifteen of those yards came back on a personal foul. However, quarterback Jordan Johnson found receiver Sam Gratton for 26 yards. Johnson then ran for 19 yards on the next play. A 10-yard holding penalty brought the Grizzlies to the 10-yard line. After Moore picked up four yards, Johnson finished the drive by making some nifty moves on a broken down play for the six-yard touchdown play.
