Ohio Vs. Utah State Final Score, 2011 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl: Bobcats Pull Off 24-23 Victory Over Aggies

The Ohio Bobcats have finally won a bowl game, defeating the Utah State Aggies in the 2011 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, 24-23. Quarterback Tyler Tettleton turned a broken play into a one-yard touchdown run for the 23-23 tie and saw his kicker connect on the extra point.

However, the final minute of play was not without controversy. It appeared that LaVon Brazill had caught a pass, fumbled it and then recovered it in the end zone for the game-tying score. However, after a ton of confusion on the call, Brazill was ruled down on the ground before he fumbled the ball (he didn't really since the ball came lose when it hit the ground). It still gave the Bobcats a fresh set of downs.

Utah State attempted a hook and ladder on the  final play of the game and actually got it to work for a bit, but the final lateral wound up in the hands of the Bobcats.

Aggies running backs Michael Smith and Robert Turbin ran for 156 and 101 yards, respectively. The Aggies had 439 total yards, 342 of which came on the ground.
