Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports that the Denver Nuggets have yet to make Carmelo Anthony available in trade discussions with other teams, signaling that the Nuggets have not reached a point of no return, so to speak, with their All-Star forward. From Stein:
Yet sources tied to five potential Anthony suitors, reached in recent days by ESPN.com, all relayed the same story about the Nuggets’ response: They’re pretty much ending these conversations before they even start by saying that they don’t want to engage in Melo talks.
Stein cautions that the situation is fluid and could change at any time, but for now, Denver won’t even entertain the possibility of dealing Anthony.
