Taylor Buchholz Makes His Return To Denver

Earlier today, multiple sources reported that RHP Taylor Buchholz will finally make his return to the major leagues after undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2009. Buchholz has been undergoing multiple rehab appearances in AAA Colorado Springs, but appears healthy enough to join an already strong Colorado bullpen. Buchholz last pitched for the Rockies in 2008, where he had a very successful season as a setup man, posting a very healthy 2.17 ERA.

Rookie pitcher Jhoulys Chacin has been optioned down to AAA, and IF Eric Young, Jr has been transferred to the 60-Day Disabled List to make room.
