With the Michigan St. Spartans loss to the Connecticut Huskies, Sparty dropped from second to sixth and paved the way for UConn's jump from unranked to seventh in the latest AP college basketball top 25.
A day after Kemba Walker and the Huskies beat MSU, they dismantled the eighth ranked Kentucky Wildcats by 17 to improve their record to 5-0 and warrant inclusion in the top 10.
