The Colorado Rockies still have 120-plus games left to play in a season gone horrible, but it remains to be seen whether general manager Dan O'Dowd and manager Jim Tracy will make it to the end.

I'll Have Another has won the 2012 Preakness Stakes and is now one victory away from becoming the first Triple Crown winner in 34 years. Affirmed was the last horse -- and 11th overall -- to win that distinction back in 1978. While there have been others to challenge since then, it has ultimately proven unfruitful for those horses.
If you are in need of a quick recap of how I'll Have Another pulled out the victory on Saturday, Matt Gardner of And Down The Stretch They Come has broken down the victory in the video below:
Missy Franklin attends Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, CO, and is on her way to becoming an Olympian this summer in London should she be named to the swim team. Just the other day, the school's Senior Send-off turned into an Olympic Send-off as Franklin was honored for her future pursuit of gold medals in London this August.
One other surprise awaited: Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker came out to wish her luck in her endeavors this summer. Check out the video of it below:
It's quite far away, 2016, but the Colorado Buffaloes might already have their first opponent in the Pac-12/Big Ten football partnership when it starts four years down the road. The Journal and Courier reports that the Buffs would travel to Ross-Ade Stadium in 2016 to face Purdue and then host the Boilermakers at Folsom Field in 2017. However, this isn't a sure thing yet, according to Purdue athletic director Morgan Burke:
"We’re still going through the details, but we have a handshake agreement but it’s not in writing yet," Burke said. "We’re trying to work through it. People have schedules in place for years. It’s not as easy as getting people around the table and figuring out who’s going to play. We’ve held a couple of dates."
Need to start somewhere, I guess? Though I agree with the Ralphie Report: starting off with the Nebraska Cornhuskers would have been better. Rivalry and all that.
Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Brock Osweiler was in Los Angeles for the NFL Rookie Premiere event on Friday, but he spent evening with Snoop Dogg at the Lakers' game.
